Abdi Waluyo Hospital inaugurated the installation of a Focused Ultrasound Ablation (FUA) device that provides benefits for patients since Sep, 2023，one of which is for those who have uterine myoma or adenomyosis in the uterus. This latest FUA technology will deliver ultrasound waves that converge to the focal point of the lesion and result in death in myoma cells without damaging other surrounding healthy tissue. FUA allows patients who have myomas and adennomyosis to undergo noninvasive therapeutic procedures without skin incisions, which can reduce pain, minimize complications, optimally destroy pathological cells, so that they can heal optimally.
