Chongqing Haifu Hospital is located in Chongqing, the southwest of China, which is a city of natural attractions and a municipality with more than 30 million people. Established in March 2011, Chongqing Haifu Hospital is the first one in the world that specializes in the treatment of fibroids, adenomyosis, liver cancer, pancreatic cancer and other tumor diseases by means of High Intensity Focused Ultrasound. It is the Affiliated Hospital of National Engineering Research Center of Ultrasound Medicine and the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University. This specialized hospital now has 31 beds with a total of over 80 medical personnel who provide professional and training services. The annual outpatient amount exceeds 10000 which include patients from China and overseas, and around 1000 HIFU surgeries was done in this hospital every year. Haifu Hospital is also a training base for high-intensity focused ultrasound tumor ablation. By Nov. 2021, clinical training has been provided to more than 1500 doctors from about 50 countries and regions.
